Singer Etheridge marries girlfriend in secret ceremony

Rock singer Melissa Etheridge married her actress girlfriend Tammy Lynn Michaels on Saturday in California.

The two, who had said they were going to tie the knot at Christmas, released a statement saying they were married even though gay weddings are not legally binding in their home state of California.
