Wendy soldiers on

Brave EastEnders star Wendy Richard is returning to work, despite still being treated for cancer.

"I am undergoing radiotherapy but find that work helps me take my mind off things that are happening in my private life," says Wendy, the much loved actress who plays Pauline Fowler, in EastEnders.

She is fighting cancer for the second time.
