Patrick Kielty 'signs £1m deal with BBC'

Patrick Kielty has signed up to present another two series of his BBC1 chat show.

It is thought that the comic has signed a £1m (€1.58m) deal to continue with Almost Live, after it proved a hit with viewers.

He will also be seen fronting new reality TV show Fame Academy next month.

According to the News Of The World, BBC bosses are grooming Kielty to become a "major player" for the station.
