Sharon Stone in talks for spy film

Sharon Stone is in negotiations to join Rupert Everett in new spy drama A Different Loyalty.

She would play Eleanor Philby, whose husband Kim infiltrated British intelligence for the Russians before defecting to Moscow in 1963.

The actress is also in talks to appear in family movie Liar's Club, which will be shot around the same time.

Liar's Club is based on a dysfunctional Texas family that splits up, gets back together, splits again and reunites.

Stone's last starring roles were in Simpatico and Beautiful Joe, both in 2000.

She also appears in Rosanna Arquette's documentary Searching For Debra Winger, which was shown at Cannes this year.
