Rescued koala with rare condition is found to have two different coloured eyes

A koala rescued in Australia has been found to have two different coloured eyes thanks to a rare condition.

The aptly named Bowie was found on the side of the road in Brendale, Queensland after being hit by a passing car.

Bowie was taken to the nearby world famous Australia Zoo, where he was treated by vets. While there they noticed the koala had a condition known as heterchromia.

The condition has left the koala with one brown eye and one strikingly blue eye similar to a certain David Bowie.

What’s even more amazing is that koala has perfect vision.
