Samsung has launched a new 6GB DRAM chip, which adds weight to the rumour that the Galaxy Note 6 will feature a whopping 6GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 tipped to feature 6GB RAM

At its Mobile Solution Forum in China, Samsung announced the DRAM chip. Of course, its announcement doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be added to the Galaxy Note 6, but there is a good chance of it.

The Galaxy Note 5 featured more RAM than the Galaxy S6, so it seems likely that the Note 6 will be an upgrade on the 4GB found in the Galaxy Note 7.
