Reformed rescue dog saves hummingbird from death; they become best friends

After bringing a rescue dog into his home, California man Ed Gernon found Rex a bit hot to handle.

Having had to fend for himself for most of his life, Rex - a Sheppard mix - would fight with other dogs and try to kill local cats.

Slowly but surely Rex settled into domestic life and one day, on a walk, the dog showed his owner that he’d completely reformed.
