WATCH: BBC weather woman apologises before fainting during report
The 33-year-old mother of one, was giving a weather report when she turned to her co-presenters and said: "I’m so sorry but I’m going to faint."
She then promptly clutched her hands together and fell backwards.
The camera then cuts to her co-presenters Polly Evans and Rob Smith who were momentarily gobsmacked before calling for their colleagues to help out Rachel to make sure she was alright.
The BBC then found themselves inundated with correspondence worried about the lovely Rachel and wanting to know if she was alright.
Such was the level of concern that the BBC then tweeted to say trooper Rachel was on the mend and would be back in action as soon as she was well enough.
Just to let you know our weather presenter Rachel is up on her feet and will be absolutely fine. Thank you for all your kind messages.

The Twittersphere was also impressed by Rachel’s level of professionalism and insight for apologising before collapsing on national television.
Thank you so much for all your kind messages of concern. I'm on the mend and hope to be back at work soon. Rachel xx
