VIDEO: Gardaí release dramatic footage of huge branch falling on burglary response car

Members of the Gardaí’s Burglary Response unit had a very fortunate escape while they were on an operation in Dublin last week.

While travelling through the Blanchardstown area during Storm Abigail last Thursday gardaí in a burglary response car narrowly avoided serious injury after a massive branch fell from a tree right in front of them.

The gardaí car has no time to get out of the way and smashes straight through the huge branch - one does shudder to think what would have happened had they been a second later under the falling tree limb.
