VIDEO: Husband announces to wife that she's pregnant

An up-and-coming YouTube family (yes, that’s a thing) have generated a lot of attention in the last two days for a video that flips the usual pregnancy announcement on its head.

When it comes announcing that you’re pregnant, the expectant mother is usually the first in the family to know.

But Texan YouTuber Sam managed to find out before his wife Nia and then surprise her with the news.

How?

Glad you asked.

In what is arguably a completely insane thing to do, after Nia, mentioned that she was two weeks late, Sam went to the bathroom retrieved some of his wife’s pee from the toilet so he could test it.

Yup. And he generously filmed everything for us.

Nia, Sam tells us, usually goes to the toilet in the night and doesn’t want to wake the children with the flush (lord, this is already too much information).

So Sam arrived home with a pregnancy test after a night shift and went to see if Nia was pregnant while she was making breakfast for everyone.

Now, to be fair, the excitement of the couple - who already have two children - when he finally tells her she’s pregnant is adorable. She of course is completely confused when he presents her with a positive pregnancy test she did not take but once the news sinks in, she is, of course, ecstatic.

Still though….

Way to steal her thunder.

Sadly, Nia has since suffered a miscarriage and the couple have made a very emotional video sharing the news.
