VIDEO: Dave Grohl responds to the 1,000 fans who played Learn To Fly

Last week a video emerged of 1,000 Foo Fighters fans playing Learn To Fly to get Dave Grohl and the band to play a gig in Cesena, Italy.

The video was pretty spectacular and people everywhere hoped Dave Grohl would see it and go to Italy, and put on a concert with the Foo Fighters.

Well it appears he has seen it.

Grohl, speaking in Italian, says:

Hi Cesena! I'm Dave. Hi. I'm sorry, I don't speak Italian...just a little bit. This video...It's amazing! Such an amazing thing. Thanks you. We are coming. I promise. See you soon. Thank you so much. I love you. Bye.

The Rockin 1000, who put the original event together have since posted their own video to thank Grohl.

They say:

Thanks David, that is wonderful. See you in Cesena. We love you.

So it seems the Foo Fighters will be heading to Italy to put on what we assume will be an amazing gig.
