VIDEO: Gardaí bring Indiependence DJ set to an end

Revellers at Indiependence had their night brought to an abrupt end last night when the Gardaí turned up to pull the plug on a DJ set that had run overtime.

This video shows security intervening to tell an eager DJ, Eddie Kay, to finish his set which he was determined to carry on despite his timeslot being over.

Eddie was supposed to finish at 2.30am but well after 3am he was still making the crowd bounce to his beats.

Despite pleas from security to finish up, Eddie carried on as the crowd belted out cheers of "One More Tune".

However, the fun didn't last much longer and the Gardaí turned up to tell the Cork DJ to pack it up.
