Singer Ed thinks out Thrones fantasy

ED SHEERAN could be the latest star to join the terrifying world of Game Of Thrones.

The Thinking Out Loud singer is said to be in talks to land a part in the fantasy series and has made no secret in the past of how much he would love to be a part of the cast.

According to The Sun, Ed has been back in touch with Game Of Thrones bosses about a guest appearance after missing out on being an extra three years ago.

“But I’ve got that time off this year, so I’m going to hound them.”

ALAN RICKMAN has declared that an actor who decides to direct themselves is “stupid”.

The Harry Potter star directs new period drama A Little Chaos starring KATE WINSLET, and appears opposite her as King Louis XIV. But he insisted he took “a lot” of persuading to cast himself in the role.

Alan said: “I’m not stupid, a stupid person directs a movie and then acts in it as well. That’s probably actionable by some of the actors who have directed movies lately, and all I can say is, my hat is off to them.”

Alan admitted it was a struggle to govern the camera and preside over court as King Louis in the film.

He said: “It’s not easy, but you realise after a while you have the same expression on your face. ’I’m Louis the XIV, I’m a director – sort of’.”

Take That’s GARY BARLOW has revealed former bandmate JASON ORANGE will still be coming on tour with the band – but just to watch from the side of the stage.

Jason left a million hearts broken when he announced to fans last September that he was leaving the band. But Gary has told MailOnline his old friend will be there at the live shows cheering him, MARK OWEN and HOWARD DONALD on.

Gary said: “He wants to come to the shows, he’ll definitely be there. I don’t think we’ll be able to get him up on stage, but he’ll be there.”

The follow up to 2011’s I, Partridge: We Need To Talk About Alan is due to be released in October 2016 according to the Radio Times, and is said to be “a collection of essays, diary entries, open letters, think pieces, programme and business ideas”.

It will be written again by Alan himself (with a little help from Alan Partridge screenwriters Rob and Neil Gibbons, and STEVE COOGAN who plays him), and an audio version will be read by Steve in character.

The autobiographical sequel promises to lift the lid on Alan’s thoughts about climate change, bad driving and his 15-year legal wrangle with Allan Partridge Plastics Ltd, as well as revealing just what led to a fall out with his former rock climbing partner EAMONN HOLMES.

SARAH HARDING has said she didn’t even have to audition to land her Coronation Street role.

The ex-Girls Aloud singer, who had a role in the St Trinian’s movies, will be at the centre of a big storyline involving the Barlows on the ITV soap.

Sarah said show bosses offered her the part after watching her previous acting work on YouTube and meeting her at a charity event on the cobbles.

“I did a bit of charity work there and got chatting. “They knew I was a fan because I was running around going mental, going, ‘There’s Audrey’s!’ I said I would love to be on it. My mum is so thrilled by it. She buys all the soap magazines.”
