Promising a Megazord of fun for fans, the tour will feature a Power Rangers performance to show off their superhero moves, followed by photo opportunities. The Power Rangers will be in Waterford on April 14; Cork (Kinsale Road) on April 15 and Limerick on April 16, from 10am to 3pm daily; www.Smyths.com/PowerRangers

The majority of Irish mums (68%) are spending upwards of €2,000 on their first child. Buggies and car seats account for the bulk of the budget (70%), followed by nursery equipment such as a cot and babycare products. Baby clothes only account for 3% of the spend, demonstrating that Irish mums are very practical in their approach to motherhood, according to a survey to mark the SMA Know-How Pregnancy & Baby Fair, which was in Dublin’s RDS last weekend and will be in the City Hall, Cork tomorrow and Sunday, from 10am to 6pm daily, tickets €10; www.pregnancyandbabyfair.ie
