On a collision course

HOW many good decisions are made very late at night? Fast food seems like a great idea at 2am, and very wrong at 8am.

We can only speculate on the clarity of thought at the midnight-oil meetings of the momentous banking bailout of September 2008. However, we do know that these were certainly seismic choices made in the wee small hours, after a long, intense period of time.

And how many footballers or pop stars end up in lapdancing clubs, in fights or sending disastrous tweets, when darkness descends after an epic, stressful day?
