It’s easy to lose perspective at this time of year, as the pressures of Christmas bear down. 

The pressure of getting all of the work done before the break, the pressure of finding presents for everyone and spending money we can’t afford on presents, the pressure of getting the tree up and getting the house just right, the pressure of too many layers in over-heated shops blasting Christmas songs, the pressure of feeling like you have to get your body Christmas-ready, the pressure of doing the big food shop… it can all add up to making us feel miserable at the very time of year we’re supposed to be full of cheer.
