New tractor registrations so far this year up 5% on 2025 figures

Counties Cork, Wexford, and Tipperary delivered the highest number of new tractor registrations for July

January 2026 recorded the highest amount of new tractor registrations at 577 units from the 1,770 new tractors which have been registered so far in 2026.

The number of imported new tractors and machines registered for the first time in Ireland has increased when compared to July 2025.

The latest Farm Tractor & Machinery Trade Association Ltd (FTMTA) statistics service report for July 2026 shows that new tractor registrations have increased by 5% when comparing 2025 to 2026 registrations.
