50-acre farm near Enniscorthy set for May auction
The four-bedroom house is in good condition throughout.
Coming up for public online auction on Wednesday, May 14, is a 50-acre farm at Newtown, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.
The property is being presented in lots by Gorey-based Quinn Property. The sale is due to take place at the Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy and simultaneously online.
“We’re delighted to introduce this new property to the market,” said selling agent David Quinn. “It has an excellent countryside location and a charming traditional house.”
The holding is 5km west of Enniscorthy, 3km from the village of Caim and a short distance off the N30 (Enniscorthy-New Ross road) in the heart of some of Wexford’s finest agricultural lands.

The house — known as ‘Acre House’ — is in good condition throughout — a century-old stone-built traditional home with its own separate entrance. Accommodation includes an entrance hall, sitting room, dining room, kitchen, two utility rooms and a toilet/shower room downstairs. On the first floor, a landing leads to a bathroom and four bedrooms, with ensuite bathroom in the main bedroom.
The property will be offered for sale in the following lots:
- Lot 1 (4.8 acres);
- Lot 2 (farmyard with outbuildings on 44 acres);
- Lot 3 (residence on 1 acre);
- Lot 4 (the entire).
The lands are guided at €15,000-€20,000 an acre while the house (Lot 3) is guiding €230,000-€250,000.
