Rise in prices as farmers urged to maximise milk production for remainder of 2024

Tirlán chairman John Murphy said that butter and cream prices recorded a "notable increase in recent weeks due to tight supply". 

Tirlán has confirmed it will pay a total of 44.83c/litre for July creamery milk supplies at 3.6% butterfat and 3.3% protein. 

This is an increase of 1.75c/litre on the payment for June.
