Supplies of Spring lambs are steadily increasing this week as the changeover from reliance on hoggets begins to be reflected in the composition of the intake at the processors.

After a record-breaking run of rising prices for the hoggets, the trade has turned the corner with quotes easing back by up to 20 cents/kg for supplies to the factories this week, while the Spring lamb price made an equivalent gain.
