Taking time to get on top of farm admin, it will pay off in weeks to come

At the time of writing our summer weather appears to have finally arrived and it’s most welcome! Grass is growing well and if the weather stays settled, there will be plenty available so that the cattle can stay out as long as possible before housing.

The farmyard manure from last winter was spread at the beginning of the month on one field that was cut for silage twice, and another poorer grazing field.
