89-acre farm in North Cork attracting keen interest

A quality 89.33-acre farm with a family history stretching back to 1829 in North Cork is new to the market with Mallow-based O’Connell Auctioneers.

The holding — located in the townland of Coolbane, 2km from the village of Fremount — is described as a “truly outstanding property” by selling agent John O’Connell.

“This is a holding that was very well farmed over the years,” says John. “It was very well kept and there’s a beautiful house on it which is 1,000ft2.”

The property is in an active farming area, 13km from the market towns of Newmarket and Kanturk and approximately 20km from Charleville. There is good road frontage onto the R579 and the pastures are laid out in manageable divisions with a good internal road system.
