€15,000 per acre hasn’t put bidders off Raheen property

If you were to imagine a farm with the optimum mixture of quality, location, and potential it would probably look something like the 66-acre holding that came on the market with Cork City-based auctioneers Casey & Kingston three weeks ago.

The land is presented to the market as Lot A of 27 acres and Lot B of 28.9 acres, but there is plenty of appetite for the entire farm, and there is already a strong offer on the table.

The property is a level, regular-shaped block of top-quality pasture farmland laid out in six neat divisions.
