New fodder scheme applications open

Forms for the Government’s new fodder scheme will be available on the Department of Agriculture’s website from today and from its local office network.

Forms will also be available from Teagasc offices where advisers will continue to provide one-to-one advice to farmers impacted by flooding.

The closing date for applications will be January 22 with the objective of ensuring swift payments.
