The six cylinder powered MF 7344 Activa is also coming, along with enhanced specifications and features throughout the combine range.

The Activa 7340’s 4.9 litre, four-cylinder engine, is power density boosted to 176 horse power, in a bid to combine the operating benefits of six cylinders with a lighter, smaller machine.

The MF Activa 7344 will replaces the 7244, bringing the option of a 5.5m wide PowerFlow header to users of smaller combines, likely to be particularly beneficial in oilseed rape.

Massey Ferguson says PowerFlow is proven to boost output up to 73% in oilseed rape, 15% in wheat and 12% in barley, and is particularly useful in difficult conditions.

Massey Ferguson says AGCO’s recent investment in a harvester plant at Breganze in Italy, with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and equipment, has enabled it improve the combine harvester range for 2016.

There will be faster unloading from Activa S combines (up to 105 litres/second), The Massey Ferguson ParaLevel system will become an option on two-wheel drive versions of the Beta 7360 PL and 7370 PL.

This is designed for farms with slopes of up to 15% and rolling land, to improve output and grain sample without the need for four-wheel drive. It allows fitting of wide tyres up to 800/65 R 32s while remaining within transport width limits.
