Cormac Healy takes on lead meat industry role

Meat Industry Ireland, which represents the meat industry within Ibec, has appointed Cormac Healy as senior executive director.

The appointment is part of the restructuring of Meat Industry Ireland into a full business sector within Ibec, agreed earlier this year, and which will now encompass the beef, sheepmeat, pigmeat, and poultry meat sectors.

“The process of filling this key post was completed recently and Meat Industry Ireland is delighted that Cormac has accepted the appointment,” said an Ibec spokesperson.
