Three years to pay superlevy

The European Commission has confirmed that dairy farmers can pay the superlevy fine over three years, with zero interest charged.

Co-ops and farmers have called for the details and workings to be clarified immediately. ICOS said the move will ease the cash flow situation for farmers and co-ops.

ICMSA Deputy President Pat McCormack reacted with a call on milk processors to pay back two thirds of superlevy fines already deducted, to farmers who will opt for the three-year payment period.
