Brennans televised visit to An Grianán
National president Liz Wall was behind the invitation to John and Francis Brennan to help invigorate business at the ICA college.
An Grianán is comprised of a 17th century house and grounds with 53 bedrooms, a 120-seat dining room, function room, bar, six self-catering cottages and a small shop. Keeping An Grianán alive means attracting new members, updating facilities and attracting people to courses to support the centre’s ambitions.
It’s a huge place and a huge task — tune in to RTÉ One at 8.30pm on March 1 to see if the Brennans can make the crucial difference.
Meanwhile At Your Service series producer Maggi Gibson says the team is researching a new series of the successful primetime TV show, which stars 5-star hotelier Francis Brennan from the Park Hotel Kenmare.
“If you own or run a hotel, guesthouse, B&B, caravan park, campsite, self-catering cottages or similar, this is your chance to get advice which could change your business forever.
“We’re always looking for new and unusual venues to film and we’re interested in a wide variety of hospitality businesses. We particularly want to hear from you if you’re diversifying your business this year or have big plans to change your premises,” says Gibson.
If you are willing to appear on TV, get an application form by contacting executive producer Maggi Gibson on 048 9042 7646 or email maggi@waddellmedia.com.
