Moore named as Bord Bia chief executive

Paddy Moore has been appointed interim chief executive at Bord Bia, following Michael Duffy’s moved to a similar position with the RDS.

Previously Director of International Markets with Bord Bia, Mr Moore was special advisor to the Minister for Agriculture and Food from 1997 to 2002.

A former chief executive of the Irish Livestock and Meat Board (CBF), he is vice-president of the International Meat Secretariat.
