Tipp horses tops at Horse Show

TIPPERARY’S reputation as a breeding ground for quality sport horses was enhanced at last week’s Dublin Horse Show.

The Premier county’s equestrian artist Peter Curling and his wife, Louise, own Hochmagandy, which gave Frances Cash her seventh RDS hunter championship.

So far this year, Tipperary-bred horses have won six international events in show jumping and eventing. Co Clare, which also bred six international winners this year, also enjoyed major success at the show.
