Farmers to receive full payment

Dublin: SWS Forestry Services has welcomed confirmation by Minister Joe Walsh that farmers who planted part of their holding between 2000 and the end of 2004 will still receive their full payment under the single payment scheme.

Padraig Egan, SWS Forestry Services manager, said the Minister’s statement means that farmers can plant this year and still draw their full entitlements.
