Captain America and Iron Man put differences aside to make dying fan's dream come true

Avengers co-stars Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans became real life superheroes recently when they joined forces to make a dying fans dream come true.

After Captain America Civil War it seemed like it would take a miracle for Cap and Iron Man to put their differences aside and work together, and that's just what happened - with a little help from Pepper Potts.

Downey Jr and Evans were joined by their fellow Marvel actress Gwyneth Paltrow when earlier this month she learned of a fan's illness.

Ryan Wilcox, who's battling Lukemia, had a dying wish to meet his superhero idols, and after an Instagram campaign his dream was realised.

Palthrow called on her friends to take a trip with her to Ryan's home town of San Diego, and even offered her services as chaffeur for the road trip.

Downey Jr, Evans, and Palthrow met with Ryan and it's easy to see the teenager was super excited.
