How nice it is to see such a politically correct People’s Angelus which includes the New Irish! Native Irish minorities were always excluded by the Angelus, but that never mattered to the majority.

I watched the Kerry v Monaghan match on TV recently and I cannot understand why the referee allowed Kieran Donaghy to stay on the field after committing five or six fouls (persistent fouling).

In response to the article about the rights of walkers and landowners (Farming Mar 24), Keep Ireland Open would like to point out that, while the New Zealand example is interesting, there is a simpler and less expensive option: a National Indemnity Scheme.
