What’s Donaghy up to?

I watched the Kerry v Monaghan match on TV recently and I cannot understand why the referee allowed Kieran Donaghy to stay on the field after committing five or six fouls (persistent fouling).

Kieran Donaghy’s way of dispossessing a man with the ball is catching the hand of the player in possession from behind, which to me is a blatant foul.

He did that five or six times in the match I was watching.
