Fergus Finlay (Irish Examiner, Opinion, July 7) argues that Fianna Fail tried to buy elections in the last decade and said that cautious advice was dismissed as being “the views of ‘left wing pinkos’”.
I was angered to read the second front-page story for last Saturday’s edition ‘€140k for woman who had swab left inside her’ (Irish Examiner, July 4).
Exposing Israelis as serial perpetrators of injustice is not anti-Jewish. Anyone who makes objective, rational observations in advocating basic human rights and civilised dignity for Palestinians is criticised.
I have heard many politicians say ‘I have been democratically elected’.
