At Irish cinemas March 4th

Take a trip back to the Golden Age of Hollywood with the Coen Brothers this week, while also enjoying over the top action in London and being more than a little freaked out by a future horror classic.

Hail, Caesar

Joel and Ethan Coen (Fargo, True Grit) are back with a send up of the classic era of Hollywood featuring an all star cast including George Clooney, Josh Brolin, Tilda Swinton, Channning Tatum and Scarlet Johansson. It's a strange story about a missing star, a ransom and a whole lot of background shuffling by Brolin's studio boss. And it's a good laugh.

London Has Fallen

Gerard Butler is back as a mixture of secret service agent and superhero in this surprising sequel - though the original was a bit of scrappy fun. Now he's on this side of the pond, attending the funeral of the Prime Minster when the effluent hits the fan. The rest of the cast is back and things are set to blow up a lot in the British capital.

Goodnight Mommy

As creepy horrors go, this one has future classic written all over it. Returning after major surgery to her face, a mother just wants some time to recuperate but her young twin sons need looking after and... we're not going to tell you what else happens!

Hitchcock/Truffaut

Two titans of cinema met for an intense series of interviews in 1962, resulting in one of the best books about film ever written. Almost 50 years later, this documentary examines the impact of those two filmmakers and chats to the likes of David Fincher, Wes Anderson and Martin Scorsese about their enduring legacy.

Truth

Cate Blanchett stars as the producer of the 60 Minutes TV show in the US, who comes under investigation after airing information about George W Bush in the run up to the 2004 elections. Reobert Redford plays host Dan Rather and the film comes from acclaimed screenwriter James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) as his directorial debut.
