Samsung introduces Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge

Both feature a Quad HD Super AMOLED display with 2560x1440 pixels; they differ in their size though. The Galaxy S7 is the smaller of the two with a 5.1-inch display, while the Galaxy S7 Edge features a 5.5-inch panel.

Many of the pre-MWC rumours and leaks turned out to be true. These devices feature a Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM, they boast a 12MP camera that should be better in low light than its predecessors, and they have always-on displays that can keep important info and notifications in plain sight.

One welcome feature is the return of microSD support. On the battery front, the Galaxy S7 features a 3,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S7 Edge features a larger 3,600mAh battery.

Both devices will be available from March.
