London has Fallen spot is very silly

Olympus Has Fallen was a surprise box office hit back in 2012, despite being a mess of a film with some of the worst CG ever to appear in a theatrically released feature. Regardless, the sequel London Had Fallen is almost ready to arrive in cinemas.

Here's a maximally silly new TV spot.

We can't even remember if Gerard Butler's character was supposed to be a Scot in the original but the actor is back in the UK for this one, which sees world leader attending the funeral of the British Prime Minister and coming under attack. Only the US President (Aaron Eckhart) and his secret service dog (Butler) can save the day.

At least the effects look a bit better this time...
