VIDEO Celebrate 20 years of Pixar
Pixar has managed to become the first name in CG animated movies since they debuted the first feature lengthed CG film back in 1995. Toy Story was an instant classic and the company has gone from strength to strength with offerings like Up, Wall E, Monsters Inc, Brave, The Incredibles, A Bug's Life and this year's Inside Out.
This video celebrates two decades of Pixar in appropriately wonderful fashion.
The journey takes us from their earliest shorts, which helped to define everything we've come to expect from CG movies of all shapes and types. They truly are masters of this very new craft and some of these moments will go down in history for their emotion as much as their technical mastery.
The video is edited by Kees van Dijkhuizen jr. and features voiceover by Andrew Stanton from his TED Talk back in 2012 - you can watch the whole presentation here.
