The episode will be shown on BBC One and PBS on the same day, but cinema attendees will get some bonus footage for their eyes only. Along with the special episode, there will be a guided tour of the new 221B Baker Street with Steven Moffat and a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how the special episode was made.
Tickets for the cinema release of Sherlock: The Abominable Bride will go on sale from November 2nd, 2015. The special episode will be screened on January 1st, 2016.
