Black Ops III is the most anticipated holiday season game

Nielsen released a list of the most anticipated games for this holiday season after gathering data from around 4,800. Unsurprisingly, Call of Duty: Black Ops III tops the multi-platform list with a rating of 98%.

Fallout 4 and Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate followed closely behind with ratings of 95%. EA will be pleased to see Need for Speed and Star Wars: Battlefront on the list at 92% and 88% respectively.

Halo 5: Guardians leads the charge when it comes to platform exclusive titles with a 100% rating. PlayStation 4 players seem less likely to double dip with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which is out this week, which had a 79% rating.

Wii U players are looking forward to Yoshi's Woolly World (91%), Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival (84%), Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash (80%), and Devil's Third (76%).

On PC, Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void and Anno 2205 are the most anticipated games of the holiday season.

These games are likely to be in demand this holiday season, so if they are on a Christmas list it may be better to pick them up sooner rather than later.
