38 new emoji may be at our disposal next year

Emoji are sometimes the best way to communicate; they can be a lot more fun than typing out sentences at the very least. The good news for emoji fans is that 38 new icons are being considered.

While not all 38 will make the final cut for inclusion in next year's Unicode Consortium update, Unicode 9.

Among the list are icons for a pregnant woman, a face palm, Mrs. Claus, fingers crossed, and even stuffed flatbread.
