Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will charge and transfer data faster

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is apparently in line to feature the new USB Type-C port. This means that it’ll charge and transfer data faster than its predecessors.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will charge and transfer data faster

Type-C is able to handle 20 volts and 5 amps of power, compared to the 5 volts and 1.8 amps that USB 3.0 supplies. That should speed up charging noticeably.

It can also transfer data at double the speed of USB 3.0 (around 10Gbps), so moving files between your smartphone and computer should be a lot faster.
