Foodhub to relocate global headquarters to Dublin creating 35 jobs

Takeaway ordering firm Foodhub has announced plans to relocate its global headquarters to Dublin creating 35 jobs.

Foodhub is an online portal through which customers can order from various restaurants and takeouts in their local area. It is seeking to hire for roles across its technology, sales, and customer services functions.

Foodhub–owner and chief executive Ardian Mula said their decision to relocate their headquarters to Dublin “reflects our long-term commitment to Ireland as a strategic, innovative and operational hub, as well as a valuable gateway into the European market”.

“Being a major centre for technology and innovation and having a renowned hospitality sector makes Ireland an ideal environment for us to grow our partnerships and drive innovation in our technology,” he said.

The announcement was welcomed by enterprise minister Peter Burke as well chief executive of IDA Ireland Michael Lohan.

“I am pleased to hear of Foodhub’s decision to establish its global headquarters in Dublin. The expansion, which will create 35 jobs, is a welcome addition to our thriving Tech eco system,” Mr Burke said.

Mr Lohan said the company’s “decision to establish its global headquarters in Dublin is a strong endorsement of Ireland’s reputation as a hub for innovation and international business”.

Among its current restaurant partners in the UK include Papa Johns and TGI Fridays. It also has a delivery service called Snappy Shoppers.

The company was founded in Stoke-on-Trent in 2017. It reported €51m in revenue during 2024 and employs over 1,000 people across its worldwide operations.

It operates in Ireland, the UK, the USA, Australia and New Zealand.

The company claims its platform has over a million users and processes more than 65m orders per year.

Foodhub doesn’t charge restaurants a percentage fee for use of their platform but instead a fixed weekly fee.
