Domino's to recruit 600 new staff as it eyes further expansion in Ireland
Domino's Pizza expects to sell 700,000 pizzas before the end of the year.
Fast food giant Domino's has commenced a fresh recruitment drive seeking 600 new workers for its Irish stores for the busy Christmas season.
The pizza maker is seeking delivery drivers and in-store staff members with the company expecting to sell 700,000 pizzas before the end of the year.
The Domino's Pizza Group owns the franchise agreement for Domino’s stores in the UK and Ireland and currently operates 1,288 stores across both jurisdictions.
The company's most recent results show sales increased by just under 10% in the first half of the year with revenues up 19.6% driven by an increase in sales volume, acceleration of store openings, and the pass-through of food costs.
Annelie McCaffrey, managing director of Domino's for the Republic of Ireland, said the company has accelerated store openings and plans to further expand next year.
"As we approach a very busy period with the festive peak, we are excited to announce 600 new roles with Domino’s across Ireland.
"We are proud to be able to offer a range of flexible in-store and contract driver roles, which may be suited to those looking for additional employment opportunities or to fit around study or family life," she said.
