Dixons Carphone to hire more than 200 for Christmas

Dixons Carphone has announced plans to hire 220 people in the lead up to Christmas.

The seasonal positions are available in 125 stores around the country.

Recruitment is already underway for the jobs with a number of commercial positions at the firm's head office.

The company says it hopes to have the roles filled before the month is out.
