Town of Monaghan and Ballyrashane co-ops to merge

Town of Monaghan Co-op is to merge with Ballyrashane Co-op in the North.

The headquarters will be in Monaghan and the co-op will now be called LacPatrick.

The move is expected to create employment and will see the combined turnover of in excess of €300m, increase to over €500m.
