Post tax profits at airport operator DAA jumped by 41% last year.

The company made €40 million as passenger numbers and commercial income increased.

But when exceptional items are included, after tax profits decreased by 50%, to €19 millon.

The largest exceptional charge, €21 million, related to the long-running pensions issue at the company.
