Aldi creates 20 jobs at new Wexford store
Retailer Aldi has created 20 new jobs today in its new store on Newtown Road in Wexford Town.
The store is Aldiās third outlet in Wexford Town and seventh in Co Wexford.
To celebrate the opening, customers were served up with free tasty breakfast treats from Aldiās āTaste Truckā this morning.
Beat 102-103ās Beat Fleet were also on site, along with various "games and balloons" for children.
Store manager John Flynn said: "We are delighted to open our new store and look forward to welcoming many new customers from the local area.
"Aldi has been the fastest growing supermarket in the country over the last number of years.
"Each week, more and more Irish families are visiting our stores, swapping their weekly shop to our award winning range of own-brand groceries and making huge savings on their weekly shopping bill."
The opening brings the total number of Aldi stores in Ireland to 111. The first Aldi stores in Ireland opened in November 1999.
