Digital banking reaches £1bn a day in the UK

Mobile phone and internet banking transactions in the UK have reached nearly £1 billion a day, according to a new report.

The study by the British Bankers’ Association (BBA) and EY found the technology was used for transactions worth £6.4 billion a week, up from £5.8 billion last year.
